Its just a bunch of flowers. No, its.......

...its a BouquetCam! On February 15, 2006, at the World Record Wedding Video Event (WRWVE), the first BouquetCam was attempted. A tiny wireless video camera was hidden in a bouquet and transmitted to a receiver across the room . The camera and receiver performed almost flawlessly in testing, but sputtered with a weak video signal through much of the event- possibly due to the large number of guests and electronics that filled the room.

Fast-forward to April 28, 2007. Lora and Jim loved the BouquetCam idea for their big splashy wedding reception at the Sacramento Grand Ballroom

. Remembering the WRWVE experience, I chose to go with a wired recording solution- a tiny SD flashcard video recorder about half the size of a pack of cigarettes. The camera was extended to the top of the bouquet with floral wire. The recorder and power supply were carefully wrapped around the base of the throwing bouquet and covered with foam. Jensen Wedding Films offers BouquetCam and GroomCam coverage as a creative option to all of our brides and grooms.
