Michael Jensen named a “Top 25″ Videographer

This was an award I really wasn't expecting.

EventDV magazine, a large national magazine for Event Videographers polled over 1000 of its readers to find the 'Top 25" hottest videographers in the country- and to "recognize those videographers who are wielding the most influence today, through their innovative work, educational efforts, and outreach to other videographers."

I had unfortunately received some major flack from other wedding videographers in our industry for producing the

WRWVE (World Record Wedding Video Event)

in Sacramento last February. Some thought that it would bring negative publicity to our industry. Fortunately, it didn't- the event was by most accounts a big success- an educational and promotional event for our industry.

I was unable to attend the awards ceremony in Florida. However, I did receive a beautiful plaque, and oversize football jersey, A cool 'Top 25' baseball cap, and a pack of 25 trading cards- one of which had my photo and 'stats' on the back!
