Jensen Films is celebrating 30 years in business. We are so grateful for all of the wedding couples that have put their trust in us to capture the memories of their special day. Dozens of video companies have come and gone since we started in 1991. We can attribute much of our longevity to our continuing efforts to innovate as well as our tireless quest for wedding cinematography excellence. Below are some our achievements over the last three decades!

In 2001, Jensen Films won its first of several International Creative Excellence Awards for wedding videography, and was later chosen to judge the prestigious WEVA Creative Excellence Competition.  Jensen Films was voted by the readers of Event DV Magazine as one of the "Top 25 Hottest Professional Wedding and Event Videographers."

I was honored to receive the awards but the highlight of my career has been the joy on the faces of my wedding couples when they watch their beautiful wedding films for the first time.

We continued to push the creative boundaries of the wedding video industry.  In 2006, Jensen Films created and produced the World Record Wedding Video Event - and with his colleagues set a new World Record for the number of cameras to film a wedding ceremony (about 100!) at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria in Sacramento, CA.  The WRWVE later won a national NACE (National Association of Catering and Events) award for "Best Event Production." 

Having been inspired by Hans Nyberg's stunning panoramas captured at the Danish Royal Wedding I also began creating 360° wedding panoramas.  Today Jensen Wedding Films remains one of the only companies in the world to offer HD wedding panoramas and virtual 360° wedding tours.

In 2012, Jensen Films was one of the first wedding videographers in Northern California to use drones for wedding work.  In 2020 I was honored to be featured as a guest interview on the DRONE LAUNCH ACADEMY'S “Drone to $1k” national podcast- highlighting successful drone companies across America in hopes of inspiring new pilots in the industry.

I have always considered my talents as gifts from God, and that those talents should be used to help those less fortunate.  In 2012, we produced the 'Wedding of a Lifetime' contest - a charity wedding for a couple that otherwise could not afford the wedding of their dreams.   Many of Sacramento’s best wedding professionals co-sponsored the event (seen above). On October 11, 2012 (yes- 10/11/12) Brittany & Daniel were married at Wilson Vineyards.

I was beyond inspired by a wedding music video created by British company LOCKDOWN projects, set to the Queen megahit "Don't Stop Me Now." Since 2014, Jensen Films has since created 6 wedding music video's- filmed ON THE WEDDING DAY by bringing an extra cinematographer to lip sync the wedding couple and guests. In 2016 we pioneered the development of Slow Motion Video Booths. Using super high speed cameras (filming at 180 frames per second), We are able to create stunning short video's with the help of reception guests! View a great example of our Slow Motion booth HERE.

2017 allowed us to use the wedding and event panorama skills we have developed over the last 10 years in social media. Facebook and YouTube now support spectacular VR 360° panoramas that can be viewed impressively from your phone, laptop, tablet or desktop. We also created a new Facebook page of our VR panoramas HERE. 360° panography will continue to be a growing trend for future weddings.
